Job Description:
A gaming software studio is filling a position for a Remote Game
Environment Artist.
Core Responsibilities Include:
Modeling, texturing, creating UVs, and engine implementation of
stylized environment assets
Working with the art team and technical directors to establish best
practices
Collaborating with level designers to populate environments
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
Expert-level knowledge of environment modeling and scene
composition
Experience leading or mentoring other artists
Solid understanding of asset optimization techniques/challenges
Expert-level knowledge of texturing in Substance Painter and
Designer
Mastery over vertex normals' impact on low poly shading
A love for playing and making amazing games
