Job Description:
A company is looking for a GIS Engineer - Contractor.
Key Responsibilities
Process and clean large amounts of geospatial vector data,
specifically power lines data
Develop and utilize tools for efficient data management while
balancing speed and quality
Collaborate with the Data Ingestion team and participate in daily
standup meetings
Required Qualifications
At least 2 years of relevant experience in GIS and spatial data
management
Proficiency in Python and experience with geospatial libraries such
as Geopandas and Shapely
Familiarity with GitHub and collaboration tools like Slack and
Notion
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
effectively
Fluency in English, with strong communication skills to convey
complex ideas
