DirectShifts is seeking a STRTP Clinical Director to work in
Moreno Valley, CA.
Qualifications: Must be licensed in Marriage and Family Therapy
(LMFT), Social Work, (LCSW), Psychology (Ph.D), PsyD, LPCC etc.
Must have experience in Medi-Cal insurance requirements and
documentation. Counseling experience in a residential setting and
knowledge of group process and interaction; a working knowledge of
treatment concepts in working with emotionally disturbed and/or
pre-delinquent children, preferably latency and pre-adolescent
aged. Responsibilities: The Clinical Director is responsible for
implementing the Agency's philosophy, policies, and procedures
within the mental health guidelines for Medi-Cal EPSDT Specialty
Mental Health Services. Overall responsibility for the day-to-day
operations of the Residential case management department including
timely and quality completion of all documentation (e.g. Needs and
Services Plan, visitation logs, etc.). Oversees and implements the
development and execution of a sound treatment program which will
facilitate the development and growth of the residents by meeting
their physical, emotional, educational and vocational needs. The
incumbent has the authority to make and the responsibility to carry
out major decisions as these decisions are related to an effective
therapeutic treatment program. Duties/Responsibilities: Provides
comprehensive, evidenced based, therapeutic mental health treatment
services for youth meeting Medical criteria for Specialty Mental
Health Services including (individual, group, rehab/ADL counseling,
collateral, Intensive Care Coordination, etc.) Conducts individual
and group therapy using evidenced based practices. Oversees and may
supervise Clinical Therapists, interns, and other support staff.
Plans and coordinates work of the clinical staff.
Directs all aspects of clinical therapy services rendered to

of all parties involved with the service to the child/youth and/or
family, are coordinated to support and ensure successful and
enduring change. Experience: 5 years (Preferred) providing clinical
supervision to MFT and MSW Interns. Prefer at least five (5) years
providing mental health services to children and adolescents and
three (3) years administrative supervisory experience. Knowledge
and proven experience with DMH and county dependency agency
documentation necessary. All associates, regardless of position,
serve as role models for children and adolescents who are served by
our agency. Therefore, each associate must at all times be
emotionally stable and able to function effectively with children,
adolescents and adults who may have mental or behavioral health
problems. The staff must be able to demonstrate appropriate daily
behavior, appropriate expression of emotions, as well as
appropriate role modeling. Hostility, aggression and unnecessary or
inappropriate physical actions as well as inappropriate emotional
expression are not accepted. Roles: Reports to Executive Director.
Takes direction from psychiatrist. Supervises clinical interns.
Serves as ICC Coordinator and/or CFTM Coordinator. Hours: Minimum
20 hours/week to Maximum 40 hours/week
