Trade Operations team ensures goods flow as smoothly as possible
across borders, from factories to distribution centers to places
where lululemon stores are. a day in the life:
- Develop and maintain a robust governance framework for trade
operations, including policies, standards, procedures, and
guidelines, in alignment with industry best practices and
regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the development, review, and update of trade operations
policies to ensure they are comprehensive, consistent, and
compliant with internal and external requirements.
- Establish and maintain clear and concise standards and
procedures governing trade operations processes, including trade
systems utilization, ensuring they are well-documented and
accessible to all relevant stakeholders.
- Implement a comprehensive compliance monitoring program to
assess adherence to established policies, standards, procedures,
and guidelines, identifying areas for improvement and recommending
corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the team to identify and mitigate operational
risks associated with trade operations processes, ensuring
appropriate controls and safeguards are in place.
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate trade
operations staff/partners on policies, standards, procedures, and
guidelines, promoting a culture of compliance and operational
excellence.
- Continuously assess trade operations processes, identifying
opportunities for optimization, automation, and streamlining to
improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer
experience.
- Collaborate closely with internal cross-functional
stakeholders, including global trade operations teams, Trade
Compliance, Inbound logistics, Outbound Logistics, Legal, Product,
and Technology, to ensure alignment, effective communication, and
successful implementation of governance initiatives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and
emerging best practices related to trade operations governance,
actively participating in industry forums and sharing insights with
internal stakeholders.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations on governance program
performance, compliance metrics, and improvement initiatives,
ensuring accurate and timely communication to senior manager and
relevant stakeholders qualifications:
- 5+ years' practical experience in customs & international trade
or supply chain & logistics related field
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Attention to detail, accuracy and organization
- Ability to handle confidential information frequently and
appropriately
- Capable of working independently in support of Trade Operations
objectives
- Capable of working collaboratively with different cross
functional teams and external trade partners.
- Professional English level (written and spoken) is
required.
- Apparel & footwear industry experience is a plus must haves

to work in the USA is required for this role. Compensation and
Benefits Package lululemon's compensation offerings are grounded in
a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional
individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this
position is from $103,500 - $135,900 annually; the base pay offered
is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related
knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our
total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be
eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to
