you. The Opportunity
- 12.5 month program designed to train PA's utilizing didactic
and clinical experience
- 2100 Clinical hours in acute EM care as well as weekly lecture
time
- Core Emergency Department time will be 10 months (40
weeks)
- Off service rotations include Internal Medicine, ICU, Bedside
POCUS Ultrasound Course, and Specialty rotation tracks
- Fellows will attend the Advanced Trauma and Life Support Course
(ATLS) at RUHS
- In addition to core EM content, focused training will include
clinical efficiency, documentation, billing, scribe utilization,
and patient throughput
- This is a paid fellowship with benefits and malpractice
insurance included Required Experience and Competencies
- Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program
- PAs must be NCCPA certified by the start of the program. NPs
must be certified by either ANCC or AANP by the start of the
program.
- Eligible for and/or possess current CA Medical Board Physician
Assistant licensure (must be fully licensed by the state of the
program)
- Eligible for and/or possess current DEA licensure (must be
fully licensed by the start of the program)
- Current certification in ACLS, PALSand BLS
- Previous EMS/ED work experience is highly desirable but not
