As an Assistant Manager, you will be the face of Polly---s in our local communities as well as the driving force for the store in ---Delivering the Promise--- every day Contributes to Polly---s success by supporting their Coaching Team to oversee operations during scheduled shifts. This position models and acts in accordance with Polly---s Pies guiding principles. The Manager will Communicate service knowledge and standards while ---Making the Connection--- with our Guests and Team Members. Most of all, display superb Teamwork skills to set a positive work environment through our Core Values. Responsibilities : Build relationships with Guests Demonstrate continuous improvements Maintain a calm demeanor at all times especially during periods of high volume to keep store operating to standard and to set a positive example for the team. Develop and implement strategies to support increase in sales and profit growth Control Profit and Loss of store Ensure compliance with company policies and Federal/State/Local laws Minimum Qualifications : One (1) to three (3) years related experience and/or training preferred Valid driver---s license in good standing Knowledge of the basic store operations, management principles, including scheduling, cost control, continuous improvement and inventory control policies Up to date on food safety and health codes Basic computer skills (Aloha POS, Microsoft Office) Team oriented attitude with ability to handle guest relations professionally Available to work daily dinner rush (minimum of 5 shifts per week) Available to work varied hours, weekends, and holidays; A minimum of two closing shifts per work week What We Offer : Thorough training program Food Discounts Health, dental, vision, and life insurance Retirement Plan Eligibility for quarterly bonuses Paid Time Off Equal Opportunity Employer/Females/Minorities/Veterans/Disabled/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity/Gender Expression.
