Job Description:
Computer Tomography - CT Tech - Acute POSITION SUMMARY: Under
limited supervision, the CT Technician is responsible for the
coordination and administration of all CT/MRI radiologic exams;
ensures technical quality and timely reporting of results. This
person will assure compliance with appropriate regulatory agencies
related to patient and employee safety. This individual will also
support and adhere to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to
include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards. Must live 50
miles away from facility.Pay:Hourly Comp: $80Weekly Comp:

ACCOUNTABILITIES: 1. Performs CT and MRI procedures as ordered
achieving a high level of quality. Offers expertise to physicians
regarding appropriateness of additional/modified studies, etc. 2.
Escorts patients to treatment room. Assists with dressings as
necessary. Completes all paperwork necessary to ensure timely
delivery of CT/MRI services. 3. Develops and processes radiologic
films. Logs radiologic procedures completed. Processes routine
paperwork. 4. Provides protection for patient and self in
accordance with prescribed safety standards. 5. Ensures the safety
and physical comfort of the patient while in technologists care.
Conducts daily quality control measures to monitor machine
performance. 6. Reports all malfunctions and/or need for
adjustments to the proper company or facility. Arranges preventive
maintenance as recommended by vendor. 7. Follows prescribed safety
standards in operating equipment. 8. Orders, logs, and returns
outside films requested from other agencies; completes appropriate
documentation. 9. Arranges for the release of films to patients and

Maintains confidentially of all information related to patients and
medical staff. SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL / VOCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: 1.
Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited
school. 2. Minimum five years experience as a CT/MRI Technologist.
3. Certification as a registered radiologic technologist (ARRT)
required. 4. Current IV and CPR certifications required. 5.
Certification in CT and MRI strongly preferred.#AN20PI176194568
