About the Role
The successful candidate must have positive experience in
leading teams in a very fast paced environment. This candidate must
have knowledge of Receiving, Shipping, Inventory Control, Put-away,
Picking, Packing and Customer Service and must be able to manage
the day to day operations of these functions. The candidate must be
able to work collectively with the Sales and Production Teams to
accomplishment company goals and objectives and foster OTIF results
to our customer base. The candidate must demonstrate sound
judgement, excellent leadership, and demonstrate working knowledge
of warehouse operations. The candidate must be able to develop his
direct reports and their ability to execute in a lean or six sigma
environments with emphasis on follow up and results.
What you will do (Essential Functions)
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the
Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by
initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and
personnel policies and procedures.
Contributes to the development of operational strategies within
their areas of assignment to accomplish efficiency, timeliness,
consistency and improvement to warehouse functional areas such as
picking, packing, receiving and customer service.
Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling,
and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising

Support development of direct reports and oversee the

Establish a sense of urgency within all aspects of their

Associate's or bachelor's degree in related field strongly
Minimum of 5 years in an operational environment required,
Minimum of 3 years proven leadership experience managing large
and complex teams is required; or equivalent combination of
education and experience
Management and leadership skills including experience with the
full staffing lifecycle, including interviewing, hiring,
performance management, promotions and terminations is
Have practical experience of quality concepts such as
kaizen/lean six sigma/5S principals
Experience with Warehouse Management System
Must have strong organizational and analytical skills
Outstanding ability to build and maintain team cohesiveness
Interest in continuous learning and desire to stay current on

This position requires frequently sitting, standing, reaching,
