Job Description:

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Position reports to the Parts Shipping Supervisor. Support Part Sales to achieve departmental goals. Pull, pack and label parts for shipment (includes boxing parts and building wood crates for shipping). Provide inventory assistance. Coordinate prompt, efficient and timely flow of paperwork. Drive company flatbed truck and forklift to pull material from different plants. Load LTL semi-trailers using a forklift. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Drive Supreme vehicle to different plants to pull parts

Load and unload trucks via forklift

Identify parts by reading labels/orders and pull parts

Prepare parts orders for shipping to include all labels and bill of lading

Build wood crates using various saws and air powered staple guns

Pull, pack and label parts for shipment (includes boxing parts and building wood crates for shipping)

Prepare parts orders for shipping to include all labels and bill of landing

Build wood crates using various saws and air powered staple gun

Provide inventory assistance

Load LTL semi-trailers using a forklift

EXPERIENCE

Basic computer and typing skills

Excellent communications, customer service and organizational skills

Familiar with Federal Express software systems

Familiar with LTL freight processes

AS400 experience is a plus

Forklift experience is a plus

SKILLS

Basic math skills for inventory reporting

Work independently

EDUCATION

High School diploma or GED or equivalent relevant experience

Basic math skills for inventory reporting

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Standing for long periods

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

Safety glasses with side shields

Steel toe or approved safety toe shoe

Housekeeping

Other department/job specific personal protective equipment as required
