Job Title: Routing Clerk Lead

Reports to: Routing Manager

Location: MVDC

The Role

A Routing Clerk Lead supports the Routing Manager in guiding the Routing team in effectively and efficiently completing the Routing functions. Oversees the Routing function in the department and communicates to Routing manager of issues and risks in the department. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Able to perform all Routing functions from Window to Clerical work
* Communicate with internal and external teams
* Facilitating training of Routing associates
* Delegating Tasks
* Decision making
* Research/Address Issues
* Support in daily needs such as window support and or routing
* Collaborate with Routing Manager and other departmental leadership
* Monitor and Enforce SOP's of all functions
* Maintain Daily reports
* Audit accuracy of transportation documents
* Engage team daily to plan workload and streamline communication between shifts.

Your Impact

* The primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:
* Oversees the Routing function by guiding the Routing team to perform their tasks at hand.
* Managing customer orders from Fulfillment to Shipping;
* Work with internal/external parties to ensure orders are shipping timely; Communicate with carriers daily to execute shipments;
* Prepare shipping documents such as bills of ladings for load tendering; Research issues and discrepancies on shipments; Maintain records of all shipments per Transportation guidelines; Ensures customer guidelines are followed when preparing shipments
* Cross trains in other departments and provides support when needed.

Who You Are

Approachable Team Player Able to direct and supervise others Remain in communications with leadership and management in the DC to ensure support is available. High School Diploma or GED 2-4 years related experience preferred Experience working in a warehouse environment and knowledge of administrative processes

* Experience using a WMS (Warehouse Management System) is a plus
* Knowledge of warehouse related software.

Hourly Pay Rate: $23.00-$23.75
