Job Description:
**Description**This individual will be responsible for the
development and execution of the inventory control and planning
strategy to optimize performance across the department and regional
warehouses. Collaborate with Sales, Product, Purchasing, Warehouse
and Finance to meet Greenlane financial and inventory goals. This
role will lead the standardization, transformation and scaling of
the inventory control and planning processes. In addition, this
position is key to drive efficiency related to inventory control
activities/projects and reduce inventory discrepancies throughout
the organization. This role is the owner of the Departmental Budget
and responsible for development, approval and oversight throughout
the year. Work with regional leadership to implement short and
long-term solutions that deliver significant cost advantages while
maintaining performance excellence. **Duties &
Responsibilities****What you will do (Essential Functions)** *
Project and time management: Plan tasks and deliverables
accurately, prioritize tasks and adapt as needed based upon
changing priorities. Responsive to requests, accountable for

mitigate problems, recognize cause and effect relationships between
functions * Cross-functional collaboration and communication to

and monitor the needs of internal and external customer * Special
projects as required **Inventory Control***Success: Execute and
Manager regional strategy to position Greenlane as the market
leader with a world-class multi-site inventory operation. Focusing
on inventory accuracy through the organization in order to improve
customer experience, reduce cost of discrepancies and improve
performance of warehouse operational activities* * Develop key
metrics and monitor performance of warehouses in terms of inventory
accuracy * Provide the necessary leadership that is associated with
building as well as maintaining a strong inventory management
workforce * Manage and coordinate the activities of all the staff
members engaged in inventory control and inventory record accuracy
* Implementationn and execution of the strategic inventory plan,
physical inventories and daily cycle counts to manage and supervise
the processes developed to align with the corporate objectives *
Lead the organization's inventory related teams and provide
leadership for training and development of departmental personnel *
Manage the maintenance, closing and auditing of transfer orders *
Analyze/Review the current inventory positions for the raw
materials, packaging materials, finished goods and to provide
monthly summary and any other reporting requirements * Problem
solve around inventory, discrepancies for all locations. This may
involve research, data extraction, and frequent interaction with
cross functional teams to reach resolution. * Review department
staffing requirements and determine work assignments and functions
within the department. **P** **lanning***Success:* *Execute and
manage the global strategy to position Greenlane as the market
leader with world-class Planning by guaranteeing that* *products
are available in all regional locations according to the market
needs.* *Focusing on delivery of goods on time and in* *full per
internal and external customer requirements and achieve revenue
goals through product availability.* * Manage and execute a global
planning strategy including demand plan, supplier forecasting,
inventory levels, slow movers, and inventory mix by region *
Facilitate and collaborate with Product on any decisions associated
with product de-listing, product life cycle integration into
catalog, etc. * Manage the material scheduling strategy and
processes, ensuring material supply meets demand in each of our
distribution sites. * Provide guidance to the purchasing team for
ordering including, understanding lead times and developing
creative strategies to enhance flexibility. * Manage the mitigation
of inventory risk by auditing purchase orders on a regular basis. *
Utilize deep understanding of planning processes and utilization of
differing procurement approaches for planning made to stock and
made to order items. * Communicate closely with sales teams and
production to understand historical, trend and future strategic
information that impacts the forecast, such as upcoming product
transitions or introductions, or critical sales strategies. *
Responsible for reducing backorders/stockouts for made to stock
items in all regional locations in order to support the companys
revenue goals as well as improve/maintain customer satisfaction *
Ensure and maintain data integrity through all relevant systems
including the Greenlane ERP * Review department staffing
requirements and determine work assignments and functions within
the department. **Continuous Improvement*** Drive performance
improvement through the use and interpretation of Continuous
Improvement Tools * Address the root causes of issues, create
corrective action plans and implement long term solutions *
Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take
immediate corrective action as required with internal and
cross-functional teams * Deploy Lean methods to simplify processes,
eliminate waste/non-value adding activities and improve workflow:
evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of processes, procedures,
and daily workflow * Develop, implement and maintain work
instructions and process documentation * Challenge the team to be
Customer Centric, including developing strategies to enhance our
customer service and our growth, focusing on deliveries that are
on-time, in-full and defect-free to influence positive customer
feedback results, responsiveness to internal and external customers
**Project management*** Manage project activity and enhance
operational performance efficiency: Automation, implement process
improvement techniques and expansion/relocation * Create ROI and
cost benefit analysis for implementation of initiatives and
expenditures to improve processes * Identify, prioritize, plan and
execute improvements in an organized, efficient and effective
manner **Qualifications & Skills Required*** Bachelors Degree from
an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience *
Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to
effectively communicate well with all levels of the organization
English * 10+ years of relevant work experience in inventory
control, planning, warehouse, and/or procurment functions. * Strong
interpersonal and leadership skills * Proven ability to drive
cohesion and collaboration among many different people & functions
* Confidence, presence, and credibility to command the respect of
colleagues and senior stakeholders, especially within Supply Chain
Management, Product, Purchasing, Sales, Warehouse, Logistics, and
Finance * Adaptable / Flexible - being open to change in response
to new information, different or unexpected circumstances * Working
knowledge of 6 Sigma, Lean (Kaizens, Workouts, Process Mapping),
Quality Control, and Vendor Managed Inventory preferred *
Understanding team value and how to successfully motivate and
maintain employee involvement while driving change * Organizational
skills, with ability to manage competing priorities. Ability to
document, plan, market, and execute programs * Strong Microsoft
Excel, PowerPoint, Word and MS-Project skills **Physical
