Medline Industries is looking for a highly motivated individual to fill a 1st shift Material Handler position at the SPT Moreno Valley location. This person will be responsible for meeting customer demands by maintaining the cleanliness of the warehouse, ability to operate scrubber and PE to clean floor and transport trash or debris from one lane to another. This salary range is an estimate and the actual salary will vary based on applicant%26rsquo;s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. The challenging responsibilities of the position include:

• Moves pallets of product to designated area.
• Required to operate pallet jack. Scrubber
• Organize and stack empty pallets as needed.
• Open cardboard boxes using box cutter and place product in plastic bag, add picked tag to bag, place bagged product on moving conveyor.
• Wipe racks top to bottom prior to placing any product on rack. Using scanning system, scanner will take bag of product from moving conveyor and scan picked tag as required, scan rack tag as required. Place scanned bags on designated rack.
• Job also consists in constantly moving pallet jack and racks with product, as well as bending, covering doors to supply floor stock items and it is a fast pace work environment.
• Interacts with the other personnel including leads and supervisors as needed.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
• Maintains communication with supervisors of any problem that may occur. REQUIREMENTS:
  • One to three months related experience and/or training.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • May need to work at off-site warehouse based on business needs.
  • Free from any disciplinary actions for 6 months.
  • Must be able to work overtime (2-3 hours) on regular basis up to 6 days a week
